Centor® Integrated Screens & Shades

2014 Samson House 205 Edited With Black Stile Resemble S4 01 2 Scaled E1775579984263 1024x580

The best fenestration detail is the one you don’t notice. Screens and shades that stack neatly out of sight when not in use. Hardware that disappears into the frame. Openings that read as architecture, not as an afterthought.

Retractable Screens

Integrated Shades

Centor’s retractable screens are housed within the frame itself — invisible when retracted, unobtrusive when deployed. Designed for large-format openings including folding, sliding, and lift-and-slide door systems where a conventional screen would undermine the architectural intent.

Solar and privacy shades housed within the frame profile — no exposed roller, no surface-mounted cassette, no ceiling pocket required. Centor’s integrated shade system gives architects a way to address glare control and privacy without introducing a separate building component that competes with the fenestration design.

Available in a range of fabric opacities to balance daylight, views, and thermal comfort as the program requires.

Shading Systems — SUYS Lockscreen®

suys screen 10

Thermal performance doesn’t stop at the glass. In high-performance buildings, solar heat gain management is an envelope question as much as a fenestration question — and the most effective place to intercept solar energy is before it reaches the glass, not after.

Motorized Operation

Fabric Selection

All SUYS Lockscreen® installations by PRISM are specified for motorized operation — clean, reliable, and fully integrated into the building’s control environment. No exposed hardware. No manual intervention for large or high shades. Operation can be tied to building automation, solar sensors, or simple switch and remote control depending on the project requirement.

For projects with multiple shades across multiple facades, motorization is not a luxury — it is the only practical path to consistent, daily use.

SUYS offers a range of fabric opacities and solar performance ratings to match the specific orientation, glazing specification, and occupant comfort requirements of each project. PRISM coordinates fabric selection as part of the overall fenestration and shading specification — ensuring the shade system and the glass work together as a cohesive thermal and visual strategy rather than as independent product decisions.

European Windows and Doors

We offer a large variety of materials and fenestration systems and
we’ll help you choose the ideal product for your project.

Aluminum

Aluminum fenestration is the material of choice when structural performance, slim sight-lines, and design precision are the priority.

Modern European aluminum systems achieve exceptional thermal values through advanced thermal break technology — countering the material’s natural conductivity to meet passive house and high-performance envelope standards. Aluminum’s inherent strength allows for larger spans, thinner frames, and more glass — making it the preferred system for curtain wall, sloped glazing, and oversized openings where structural integrity and visual impact go hand in hand. It is virtually maintenance-free, highly durable, and available in a full range of powder coat finishes to suit any architectural palette.

upvc

uPVC

uPVC is the high-performance workhorse of European fenestration.

Delivering outstanding thermal and acoustic values at a price point that makes it accessible across a wide range of project types. Multi-chamber profiles and triple-pane glazing options allow uPVC systems to meet or exceed passive house standards, making them a smart choice for energy-conscious builders and homeowners without compromising on quality.

While often associated with utilitarian applications, modern European uPVC systems offer refined profiles and a broad range of color and finish options that integrate well into contemporary residential design. uPVC is particularly well suited to new construction, deep energy retrofits, and projects where performance per dollar is the driving consideration.

Solid Wood

Solid wood fenestration represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship and natural beauty, offering a warmth and character that no other material can replicate. European timber systems are engineered for precision, with tight tolerances and advanced joinery that deliver surprisingly strong thermal performance when paired with triple-pane glazing.

Wood profiles can be milled, stained, or painted to virtually any specification, making them an ideal choice for architects and designers working on heritage restorations, bespoke interiors, or projects where material authenticity is non-negotiable. Solid wood systems require periodic maintenance but reward that investment with longevity and a living quality that only improves with age.

Wood-Clad

(Wood & Aluminum)

Wood-clad systems offer the warmth and authenticity of a solid timber interior with the durability and low maintenance of an aluminum exterior — the best of both worlds for discerning residential and commercial projects.

The combination delivers exceptional thermal performance, with the wood core providing natural insulation and the aluminum cladding standing up to the harshest weather without fading, warping, or requiring refinement.

Design flexibility is a hallmark of this material — interior wood species, stains, and profiles can be tailored to complement virtually any architectural vision, from contemporary to traditional. Wood-clad is particularly well suited to high-end custom homes, passive house projects, and architecturally significant buildings where interior aesthetics and long-term performance are equally important.

Timber Curtainwall

Timber curtain wall systems represent one of the most architecturally striking applications in high-performance fenestration — combining the structural elegance of exposed wood framing with floor-to-ceiling glazing that blurs the boundary between interior and exterior.

European engineered timber systems are precision-manufactured to handle the demands of large-span curtain wall applications, delivering exceptional thermal performance when paired with triple-pane glazing while maintaining the warmth and authenticity that only natural wood can provide. The design possibilities are extraordinary — from solid mahogany and oak to engineered timber species — allowing architects to create facades that are as visually compelling as they are technically sophisticated.

Timber curtain wall is ideally suited to signature residential projects, lakeside and mountain retreats, and any application where the fenestration itself is a defining architectural feature. PRISM collaborative has hands-on experience with timber curtain wall installations — including sloped applications — bringing the field expertise to execute these complex systems with the precision they demand.

Aluminum Curtain Wall

Aluminum curtain wall systems are engineered for maximum structural performance and design ambition — capable of spanning large openings, handling significant wind and snow loads, and achieving the kind of razor-thin sightlines that define contemporary architecture.

Advanced thermal break technology ensures these systems meet high-performance and passive house envelope standards, even in demanding northern climates. Aluminum’s inherent strength and versatility make it the natural choice for sloped glazing applications — skylights, angled roof systems, and complex geometric facades — where other materials simply can’t deliver the structural integrity required. Whether anchored to a steel structure, integrated into a timber frame, or freestanding as a glass wall, aluminum curtain wall systems offer unmatched flexibility for architects and builders working at the highest level of design and construction.

PRISM collaborative specializes in aluminum curtain wall and sloped applications, with project experience that includes structurally complex installations few fenestration contractors in this region are equipped to handle.

Custom Wood Windows —
Hirschmann

Not every project begins with a catalog. Some begin with a photograph of an existing window, a preservation board requirement, or an architect’s sketch of a profile that doesn’t exist in any standard line.

For those projects, PRISM works with Hirschmann — a custom wood window fabricator whose work is defined by dimensional precision, material integrity, and the ability to build what others won’t.

While PRISM’s primary focus is European high-performance fenestration, Hirschmann represents an important extension of that commitment: the belief that the right window for a project is the one specified for that project — not the closest available approximation.

Custom double-hungs and casements built to your sash dimensions, profile details, and species selection. Historical replacement units matched to existing conditions, with PRISM managing field documentation, specification development, and fabrication coordination from first measurement through delivery.

And because PRISM offers furnish-and-install, that coordination doesn’t stop at the loading dock. We bring the same precision to installation that Hirschmann brings to fabrication — ensuring that a custom unit built to exacting tolerances is set, shimmed, and sealed with equal care. One source of accountability, from shop drawing to finished opening.

If your project calls for wood — and calls for it to be right — let’s talk.
